It seems Beckham popularity has come to an end in the US as yesterday he was confronted by angry fans on his return to American Major League Soccer (MLS) club LA Galaxy.

Galaxy fans were to say the least not happy with Beckham’s extended stint with Italian giants AC Milan. During the Galaxy game they were booing the star every time he touched the ball during a match against the New York Red Bulls, Sky News reports.

Even though LA Galaxy won the match 3-1, it was not enough to get the crowd of Beckhams back..

At the final whistle, Beckham left the pitch to verbal abuse from many of the Galaxy supporters who made their feelings known, jeering at the star.

Beckham seemed not to be offended by the abuse and during post match interviews seemed to brush it aside.
